Empty - Aeon Xpand  (29 Febbraio 2008) 2008 follows with the release of the second installment from Sydney-based electronic/industrial artists Empty. "Aeon Xpand" highlights the track Castrated and a collection of remixes originating from the debut EP "Open Aeon". While the opening track and a selection of remixes have been produced for the energy-fueled EBM club scene, this release will also have listeners immersed in a layered, ambient realm with tracks remixed by various international artists. biografia Based in Sydney, Australia, Empty began in 2005 and define themselves as an Electronic-Industrial outfit, which has evolved into a style that draws upon the diverse sounds of Dark-Electro and a unique, melodic collaboration of Pop and Industrial. The initial MP3 release of the demo selection entitled "Abandon All Hope" began circulating on the net and into the hands of DJs across the globe. This later led to the independent release of the debut EP "Open Aeon" on the Aphotic Audio label in 2006. In 2007 the initial two piece band was expanded to include a live drummer and bassist. This led to a series of live shows locally around Sydney and regular international radio airplay. While recording new material for a full-length album in 2008, Empty released "Aeon Xpand" which highlights a selection of remixes by various artists.

Empty   Open Aeon (EP) - 8 Maggio 2006 Based on the Abandon All Hope demo, this debut EP has progressed to the point of completion over the past three years. During early 2006, solo artist Charles Fenech (of ANGELTHEORY) offered his support in mixing Empty's demo tracks to absolute perfection. This EP demonstrates a deeper and much more detailed variety of sound, including remixes from EBM driven ANGELTHEORY and IDM underground producer iammynewt. This diverse blend of melodic, Dark-Electro is only the beginning of much more to come from this Sydney based duo. All tracks written and recorded by Aaron Potter and Daniel Brunet. Mixing on all tracks by Charles Fenech, except "Ghost Beside You (iammynewt Remix)" by Chris Cozort. Mastered by Chris Cozort at TROZOC (NC, USA).
