About the artist
The original, alternative band from the Jersey Shore. Screaming for emily was formed in Long Branch, N.J. in 1986. The band released "GREY THE SKY" a 45 single that same year. In 1987, Screaming for emily released "SCRIPTURES"; a 6 song EP. They made the college charts and received radio airplay and worlwide distribution. The single "THE LOVE" was a goth dance floor fave! The band played many sold out shows. Including shows at; THE STONE PONY in Asbury Park, N.J. and DANCETERIA in NYC.
